Ingredients
- 8 ounces organic medjool dates
- ¾ cup filtered water
Instructions
- Weigh out 8 ounces of dates. Pit them and place them by slicing one side open and removing the pit and any leftover stem. Place the pitted dates in a high-powered blender.
- Add water and blend for at least 1 minute, stopping periodically to shake up the mixture.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Date paste has a natural caramel-like sweetness so keep that in mind when using it in recipes!
